SAQHA was founded in 1972 as an organization to support the needs and interests of those who own, ride, raise, train or appreciate Quarter Horses. Membership is open to anyone living in the southern Arizona counties of Pima, Santa Cruz, Cochise, Pinal, Graham and Greenlee. We sponsor two AQHA Quarter Horse shows each year, the Fall Circuit held in October, and The Shamrock Show in March. We also put on Special Event Shows for roping and cow horse competitors.

The 2009 Fall Show Premium is now available on line. Included in the Fall Show will be High Point and Reserve High Point awards, along with Anyone Can Ride, and all breed classes in all events. See Show Shcedule for details.
