ENTRIES CLOSE January 15, 2021. Please enter complete information for each HORSE and RIDER(S) on the enclosed registration form. A one-time POST ENTRY PENALTY of $25 per horse will be charged for entries received, or submitted via email after January 15, 2021. Photocopies of AQHA papers, current AQHA Open, Amateur and/or Youth card must accompany entries. Numbers will not be issued unless entry forms are completely and legibly filled out.

Stall Reservations

First choice: PRE-PAID MAJOR SPONSORS receive priority stall assignments. All stall reservations require the registered name of the horse and responsible party. Unused stall reservations will be billed to responsible party. Anyone wishing to stall with a specific trainer must be on the trainer’s stall list. Stalls must be reserved by January 15, mailed reservations postmarked January 15.
Earliest arrival is noon Tuesday January 26.

Schedule of Fees

All classes will be conducted under the rules and regulations as set forth in the current
OFFICIAL HANDBOOK OF THE AMERICAN QUARTER HORSE ASSOCATION. All owners and exhibitors are responsible for knowing these rules. Judging assignments or arena schedules may be adjusted to accommodate entry numbers and weather condi-tions.

NRCHA classes are conducted under rules and regulations of NRCHA. All exhibitors in NRCHA classes must be current members in good standing of NRCHA; memberships may be purchased at the show, if you are a current year member please send a copy of your membership with your horse’s entry form. The Cowhorse Spectaculars are not NRCHA approved however they will be conducted under NRCHA rules including head-gear requirements.

SAQHA and its show management will in no case be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur.  It will be a condition of entry that the exhibitor will hold SAQHA and its show management and personnel blameless for any loss or sickness to his horse(s) or equipment which may occur from sickness, fire, theft, or otherwise.

ANY CHECKS RETURNED to show management as “insufficient funds” will be assessed an additional $30 office charge. 

CLASS CALLS: Every effort is made to maintain a working PA system. However, the PA must be considered a courtesy. It is your responsibility to be at the gate for the classes you have entered.

CLASS SEQUENCE AND LOCATION. Management reserves the right to adjust the sequence and location of classes..

CLASS SCRATCHES:  Scratches must be done in the show office or at the gate prior to the class. No shows will be charged for class.

OFFICE HOURS:  Office will be open one hour before the start of the show each day.

HORSESHOE PARK RULES: Exhibitors are responsible for adhering to the rules of Horseshoe Park regarding the use of motor vehicles on the grounds, pets and alcohol.

RV HOOKUPS are available at a cost of $25 per night for full or partial hookups. Call (480) 358-3710 to make reservations.
